VOODOO RELEASED TO RADIO OCTOBER 5th
Following the rather ecstatic reception she received for her debut album (see below), Jenny Lindfors with her second single ‘Voodoo’ which is released on October 5th.
This Dubliner released a collection of tracks relating to her experiences as a twenty-something coasting and careering through the peaks and pitfalls of love, life and friendship.
In Voodoo she links this to her obsession with all things African which stems from hearing Fela Kuti over two years ago and as a DJ has lead her to spearhead a new African club night ‘Africana’ which launches in Crawdaddy in September.
“It’s the rhythm and how hypnotic, groovy and spiritual it can sound often at the same tide,” says Jenny. And Voodoo possesses all of these qualities in abundance.
